Hi! I write sci-fi and fantasy. Currently writing book three, The Ruined, of my future ice age #FindingHumanitySeries. If you like climate fiction, a diverse cast, sci-fi with a twist of mysticism, and enemies forced to work together, this may be the series for you.

@BranwenOShea did you read Neal Stephenson’s latest: Termination Shock? Any thoughts about it?
@rossmartin No, I haven’t, but I just looked it up and it looks intriguing.

@BranwenOShea it’s a very long read (like all his novels — usually 800-1000 pages). Tried the Audible book and the narrator is excellent (though I wasn’t such a fan of his female voice interpretations; his accents, however, were excellent to my ear).

Neal’s specialty is writing about the sociological implications of technological change — be it long ago history or far future. He develops expertise in whatever technology he writes about and, while fantastical, never fantasy.

@rossmartin Very interesting. I love long epic stories. I’d say I write more about the spiritual and psychological implications of climate change, and how that then affects society.
