Just some screenshots of Mousai a app to identify songs running on the #Pinephone
Idk why someone would want it but it works so if you do there you have it! :D

#Gnome #Pine64 #LinuxPhone #librem5

@gamey Wait, does it identify songs through the microphone or just songs being played _on the phone_? If the latter that's useless, if the former that's basically a FOSS replacement for Shazam which is really useful!
@bart Through the microphone :D
@gamey Oh very cool, I need this now. I'd love a KDE/Kirigami version though

@bart @gamey

Agreed. I'm especially lovin the goodness that #MauiKit is pumping out at the moment. A #privacy respecting, mauikit based #Shazaam style app for the pinephone would be delicious!

@bart @gamey

I wonder if we'll see attempts to integrate the look of #Phosh and #Kirigami / #MauiKit apps any time soon, like how the #KDE team created a #Gnome #Breeze theme to make Gnome apps fit in better visually on a #Plasma desktop. 🤞

@Blort It's a nice idea on paper but in reality it was a effort purely driven by the KDE community and discontinued when GTK2 was still big because Gnome didn't cooperate at all :/
@Blort @gamey I'm personally not a fan of the Maui style tbh
@bart @Blort I kind of like it but the side scrolling menues and the icons they use are things I just can't get used to.
@bart
Neither was I until this last release. Now, too me, it really looks like it's finally coming together.
@gamey
@Blort @bart I can only truly say that about the normal Kirigami apps yet the Mauikit ones look and feel odd to me (a lot like running the desktop versions of Kirigami apps but mobile mode only moves the bar at the bottom instead of changing much)
