Zenni, an online glasses store, is offering a new coating for its lenses that the company says will protect people from #FacialRecognition technology. #Zenni calls it ID Guard and it works by adding a pink sheen to the surface of the glasses that reflects the infrared light used by some facial recognition cameras.

This is pretty great if it works: Zenni Optical can add a privacy coating to their lenses to prevent facial recognition data collection/tracking.

Money saving advice to anyone who uses #zenni #zennioptical especially those that have high prescriptions. The recommended Index is not required. You'll hear a lot of talk about how the glasses will be too thick and that's just an outright lie. One of my eyes is -6.25 and the difference between the opposite ends of lens index is negligible.

Save yourself the pain and just go with the half price option and while you're at it skip the crazy blue light filtering and other add-ons that don't do anything for your eyes but confuse your color perception.

Someone bought glasses, and after retrying the order again (by them), none was delivered. At least they refunded the order.

After 4 months, they’re magically appeared to be delivered locally.

Blame #DirectLink, now #PostNord, offices in #Singapore. This shit is laughable.
