A while ago the coloured layer of my "fast" sunglasses started to peel and can be scraped off without scratching the lense. Anyone know whether this affects UV protection and/or how it can be checked? Polarisation remains unchanged (turn the phone 90°, voilà) but would be nice to know I'm not burning out my retinae..

(Would use normal sunglasses with glacier shields, but both for biking and kayaking, the peripheral vision is fairly essential)
