Xyphoid processTook me three days to get Matter over Thread working on my #HomeAssistant. Bought a #ZBT-2 but sent it back, because it didn't work and bought a #Sonoff MG24. But it was the fault of the VM where HA was running in on my #TrueNAS server. Virtual NIC's don't play well with ipv6. So decided to move HA from my IOT network to my General network. I also missed the step syncing my credentials (whose idea was it to put that in the "Troubleshoot" menu?? Ok, probably was a logical place).
Giant AwakeIch habe gestern den Nabu Casa ZBT-2 als Thread Border Router in Home Assistant integriert und die ersten beiden Matter (over Thread) Geräte integriert (1 Ikea Timmerflotte + 1 Aqara W100 Climate Sensor).
Die Antenne ist echt gut. Deutlich besser als die vom Zigbee Netzwerk. Ich komme im Moment ohne bridges aus, aber trotzdem quer durchs Haus. Bisher keine Abbrüche, alles snappy.
