Last XCOM game review in the Firaxis universe is out.

Chimera Squad, is a side-game in the XCOM universe that follows on from the conclusion of XCOM 2.

In a departure from the standard XCOM formula, one leads a multi-species taskforce to help uncover a conspiracy and help bring order to City 31, that is the on the cusp of anarchy.

Spent the evening running #XComChimeraSquad through its paces on the Steamdeck and it runs basically flawlessly. Kind of surprised there's no built in controller support, did the game not make the move over to console?

Either way. It's got some really nice new mechanics that I hope we see in any future mainline games, especially the breach thingy.
