I propose replacing calories with watt-hours.
- Almost same value (1 kilocalorie / Calorie is ~1.1 watt-hours)
- more intuitive for people who use electricity
- never the confusion between calories (science), Calories (food, which is technically kilocalories), kilocalories, and 'kilo Calories' (which is technically megacalories)
- you get to feel more like a robot with your 2.5kwh power consumption a day which may feel like validation to some creatures on this fediverse
- become powered by cake

When I was sick recently, I noted down a question I wanted to research later and then realised that it might be an interesting test case for an LLM search.
And sure enough, the answer to the exact same question went from "drug might be harmful" to "drug might be helpful" with just a small addition.
I can easily think of other examples like "Is my country doing poorly?" vs. "Is my country doing poorly because of foreigners?" changing the whole trajectory of the response that is then presented as *the* answer.
Obviously, classic search is prone to confirmation bias as well, but it kinda seems supercharged this way.

Pinned introduction: "Heeeey, I'm a florist who loves ice cream, roller skating and photography. I joined to find new friends and to have conversations about cozy games. 🫶"
Their posts: "What a well-known bullshitter just said is complete and utter bullshit!"
