@primesuspect I don't mind brands spinning up their own instances, but don't like seeing "Hello Fellow Kids" style brand accounts on the Fedi/Mastodon, especially on instances "for humans". So I'd say for me it depends _A LOT_ on the way the account is run. Be transparent about who's talking (not necessarily as-in actual names, but some indication of who's behind the wheel at different times, or better yet, separate accounts for separate departments/people), don't do the "wow relateable" memery, respect the platform etiquette (use CWs, don't mock and incite dogpiles on people who tell you to use CWs, use image descriptions, etc.). I know it's a bit reductionary to say this, but it _is_ concise, so: basically don't be stereotypically Microsoft ¯\\\_(🤷‍♀️)\_/¯

The difference in performance between XBox One UWP and GDK builds is crazy. I knew UWP was slower, but I didn't expect this much. Of course, it'll vary depending on the game and what's going on in it, how it's rendering etc, but I'm getting much better performance. On UWP, RC Rush dropped below 30fps in some levels - it normally runs at 120 on PC(for VR). On GDK builds, though, the game runs on an Xbone One perfectly at 60fps or more. #indiedev #xboxdev
