#SabbaticalTommy goes to #Ukraine. Worth a watch. This is part one, where he ends up in #Lviv during a Russian air raid. We've all been there. Well, some of us. Well, probably only a few. Anyway, lovely place. You should go, when Ukraine has won the war.
Just finished Anthracite (Anthracite: Le mystère de la secte des Écrins), a neat little six part TV series. It's a mystery with occult trappings, quirky and fresh.
Despite the mediocre Rotten Tomatoes ratings, I'd highly recommend this one. The story is ... convoluted, so it isn't for casual in-the-background watching.

This is what passed as jokes in #JohnWayne movies we grew up watching as kids and watched again WITH our kids.

A film, a fable, told more in images than actors speaking words to propel a lot. And the images, and colours, are some of the most beautiful ever put on screen.

A literal title translation would read, 'Warning: This Man is Wild'. A far better description of this story about a policeman who doesn't just go after criminals, but anybody he doesn't like. Kitano is stone-faced and remorseless throughout; the violence is shocking; and it's all the complete opposite of the tranquility of yesterday's choice. I love it.
