Here's one from way back - late 1980s or very early 1990s. This was the werewolf look I was sporting before doing haunt stuff.
OK, how do I turn off the cutesy hide-until-you-hover-over-it scrollbars that have become popular in Linux GUIs. Remoting into a system gives just enough lag that I'm playing tag with them when trying to click on something at the edge of a window.

For those of you scrolling through your timeline, you're about to hit a big mass of Monsterdon postings about X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes (1963).
Should you not wish to read through them, here's how to filter them out, at least on the web browser:
1) right click on the gears & open in a new tab
2) choose "Filters" then "Add New Filter"
3) give the filter a title, check all boxes under contexts, choose hide completely and put "#Monsterdon" in the keyword box.
4) Click on "Save New Filter"
... and you're done.

Blake C. StaceyDefinitely not the worst movie we've seen for #Monsterdon, but not the most enjoyable either. Everything before the circus drags. I'd say that like Krull, it suffers from not knowing what its own strengths are.
The Twilight Zone could have done this in an hour. You don't need any of the hospital business. Just start with the circus! Open with the hokey fake mindreader who turns out to be real. The sleazy barker guy convinces him to set up shop as a back-alley doctor. Then you *reveal* that he was a scientist who experimented upon himself. His old colleague shows up, he breaks down and gives a poignant speech about seeing too much and too far, then he steals a car and races off to die in a crash. If it's the half-hour seasons of Twilight Zone, you don't even need the carnival; just begin with him seeing a patient in his skid-row clinic.

tonight's #Monsterdon has a CW for eye stuff, eye experiments, eye problems, severed eye balls, etc
its that's a phobia for you or something you're squeamish about, you might consider setting a temporary mute on the hashtag
# Monsterdon will be starting in about one hour. A bunch of folks will be hitting play on a monster-themed movie at the same time and posting comments on it as they come to mind. Needless to say, that's a lot of posts (well over a thousand!) in a short time.
If you don't want to see all that, be sure you've got the hashtag muted (go to -> preferences -> filters -> add new filter).
