Niall Horan reveals final 'happy' memory of late One Direction bandmate Liam Payne
036 - Quicksilver
The angle of his foot relative to the rest of his leg seems a little odd, but otherwise, a pretty good use of speed lines and posing to depict his power.
035 - Random
With Random just sort of hanging around, I remember my lil' teenage mind being blown seeing him listed as a full-fledged member of X-Factor (I was oddly obsessed at the time w/the "officialness" of team membership).
034 - Multiple Man
At a time when Madrox in the comics was all too often in a trench coat w/droopy "dying of the Legacy Virus" hair, it's nice to get a more classic rendition of the character.
033 - Wolfsbane
Back-to-back Sienkiewicz! Not a character he co-created, but another old New Mutant friend.
032 - Strong Guy
Check out those tiny little legs! Really underscores how distorted his upper body strength is.
Always fun to see a character's co-creator do their trading card.
031 - Forge
Love the amount of detail Bell puts into Forge's sci-fi gun.
Also fun to see his mystical side called out as a power/ability.
030 - Polaris
This card is 1000 times sexier than any image of Polaris in the "sexy" gold costume she adopted around this time.
143 - X-Factor #56 - 5/22/1990
I stan pretty hard for Weezie's X-Factor, but this late period psychic vampire story is a pretty big miss.
Cover by Steven Carr. Interiors by Louise Simonson & Carr.
029 - Havok
Havok usually trading cards well, and I generally dig Palmer's painted work, but this feels like a miss. Havok is channeling the Living Monolith a bit too much, especially w/the white pupil-less eyes.
