Enjoyed a couple of pints of Farmers Belgian Blue (Bradfield Brewery) at the Peaks Hotel, Castleton this lunchtime. A seasonal beer, not too strong at 4.9% abv, and pleasantly quaffable.

For a second, I am convinced that this is a barrel aged beer, as those tend to have little or no head, but I looked at the can again, and this isn't one of their barrel aged series beers.

Found a bottle of #samuelSmiths Winter Welcome Ale in the fridge. It’s light and sweet with a touch of hoppiness. I may shift to a more appropriate dark later!

Treasure Hunt was a delightful cinnamon sweet dark ale, light on the coconut, very enjoyable.

High Bridge was a lucious nitro creamy cream ale, really nicely balanced flavors, easy drinking.

Two rather different beers today. The Pomme Saison by Gebrouwen door Vrouwen is a very refreshing, fruity, dry beer that would work well as a gateway into the style. The Mystery Beer nr 2 (from an advent 2 years ago) is a high abv, full bodied winter warmer (or barleywine?) by De Moersleutel.
