Is it possible to make it through a We’re Here episode without getting emotional? #werehere #wereherehbo

Hey @[email protected] @[email protected], again, the new episode of #WereHereHBO has WILDLY inaccurate captioning. They are not remotely close to what is being said onscreen and are significantly delayed.

I love this show, but you owe equal access to your audiences who use captioning.

Please fix them.

If you’re not watching #WereHereHBO you should be. Doing drag shows across small town usa has me sobbing, and hoping for a better future
#WereHereHBO is so good.

"We're Here" on HBO has been important & deeply moving television for two years. De'Bronski's story in the current Jackson, Mississippi episode is, as Bob describes it, "next level."

I related to De'Bronski with respect to certain thoughts & choices and could feel the release of so much sadness and rage through his performance. My prayer for De'Bronski is that he stays with the conviction to no longer be invisible. Peace more than deserved.

Who else is watching ‘We’re Here’?

De'Bronski‘s performance was remarkable. And the costuming was brilliant: From someone who felt invisible to someone who filled the entire stage up to the rafters!

Hey @[email protected], the captions on the latest episode of #WereHereHBO are WILDLY inaccurate (“drug show,” not “drag show” etc.) Please, please have them reviewed & revised. Folks who use captions, esp. multiply-marginalized queer folks, deserve equal access.

Thanks!
