I'm leveling in the 7 mmol (126 mg/dl) range today.

It's been a tiring few months of too many double-figures; basal adjustments weren't working - was at a loss.

I feel different today; like my body is saying, *phew!*.

I'm loving that the #Libre app now auto updates BG readings every minute.

I didn't know how I'd do without 3rd party app's widgets but all good so far: just set alerts in the Libre app.

There is a bug with Android where 'do not disturb' disables high/low alarms, despite correct permissions being set in the app to override DND.

November 14th is World Diabetes Day.
I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on the 16th January 2009; I had just turned 30 years old.

As with many chronic conditions it meant sudden life changes; a different outlook. Diabetes management is an additional full-time job, 24/7, 365.

There are highs and lows; it's almost constantly 'there', monopolising thoughts, decisions, plans. Diabetes can take its toll on mental health.

Had lunch at Madame Fromage in Abergavenny yesterday. You know it's 'the season' when bacon, brie, and cranberry is on the menu. Very nice it was, too! Coffee was from a roasters in Newport and had a nice nuttiness to it.

...I even snarfed down the rabbit food, which is very unlike me. 😂
