Been Spotify since '08, Apple Music since '20 - Windows support is utter pants.
Trialling Amazon and Tidal for lossless/high-res options. Both work well on Windows and Android, and have Atoms/360 - including over Bluetooth.
I'm leaning towards Amazon because we also have Prime, a Firestick, and Kindle tablets.
Tidal's top tier is overpriced. I'm assuming it's because of licencing for its dubious lossless 'Master' codec - which I highly doubt is any better than bit-for-bit FLAC.
Going by the issues .social is having, I'm considering moving on from .online, which will inevitably have similar issues as it is under the same umbrella.
Or do I just move my follow/followers over to my toot.wales account..? π€
