My 7 year old nephew is over. He’s smart as a whip but he has health problems. Type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. His mom has been through hell over it.

I was just showing him my garden. I cut off a rhubarb stalk. Did a quick googling to see if there was any chance raw rhubarb would affect his blood sugar. I’m like 90% positive it wouldn’t? Google said fiber might be an issue.

The poor kid looks at the piece of rhubarb stalk and asks me if it is Certified Gluten Free :(

Es ist nicht nur Rechnerei mit Broteinheiten zu Insulineinheiten, was schon schwierig genug ist. Hinzu kommen noch psychische Zustände oder Infekte, die alles durcheinander bringen können.
Heute schon zweimal schwer unterzuckert durch Anspannung und Stress, Panikenergien…
