Fun fact: warthogs are the only pigs that have adapted to grazing and rooting while kneeling. Most animals have to bend their whole bodies down or have long necks to reach the ground, but warthogs have special calloused pads on their "wrists" (the carpal joints). These pads are there from the moment they are born! This allows them to shuffle along on their knees for hours, munching on short grass or digging for bulbs without hurting themselves.
