Live VST Hosts for Linux? Any chance?

One problem I have when #recording my #video (s) is #backgroundnoise in my #studio as it currently stands.

There is a fan in the room that is quiet but audible, a refrigerator that hums, and the light I use adds fan noise too. 🫣

In #obs, I've tried various noise suppression techniques, but they either destroy the natural sound of the #microphone/#voice (especially the transients) or cause artifacts.

And, for whatever reason, I am unable to make the bertom denoiser work as #vst2. 🤔

How many #plugins do you have installed on your system? 🫣️ I always remove the ones I do not use and currently sport the following numbers: #clap: 36 / #lv2: 22 / #vst2: 92 / #vst3: 104
If I subtract different variants of the same plug-in, I get 92 individual plug-ins. Feels like a lot to me! 😝️

Has anyone around here ever succesfully attempted to reverse engineer VST2 plugins in order to turn them into VST3?
I see a few projects, like this one
https://github.com/Xaymar/vst2sdk
however, that doesn't seem to produce compilable code to be used for a VST3, not even functionally, let alone automation or on-state features.
Windows-only would be fine by me, I've .dll
