Singing - especially as a backing vocalist - is one of the ways I’m learning to trust my voice.
It might not seem related to business. Or coaching. Or content.
But every time I step into the music… every time I open my throat and let sound move through me… I’m unblocking something sacred.
My throat is the part of me that still holds fear.
It gets tight. Clenched. Quiet.
But as a Manifestor - in Human Design - my voice is my tool.
It’s literally where my power lives.
So I have to practise using it.
Not just for others. But for myself.
Backing vocals help me do that, in a fun way
I get to express myself without pressure...somewhat.
And I get to do it in a band with my best friend, which makes it even better 😍

Mandy Patinkin is deliberate and skilled with his voice work, so you know it has to have been a capital C Choice. Are we going to learn backstory at some point why this character needs a transatlantic accent? Was the detective raised alone in a room with nothing but AMC on the TV? 🤣
