So often, people 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 they have a common understanding, they 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒆.

When you're putting your assumptions on a whiteboard you realize that you're not on the same page yet.

Why PMs should draw more... Here's my sketchnote of a talk by Julia Steier about the benefits of visualization and drawing for product managers.

Some cool benefits are:
- alignment
- simplifying
- remembering

I would add:
- seeing connections to better analyze a problem
- get unspoken assumptions out of people's heads
- enable decision-making (e.g. with dot voting on a certain area of a map)
