Slow progress, but very happy with these first unarmoured Normans I did. They were fun to paint and helped me figure out how to make a bunch of colours not look like a circus!
Also worth noting that I'm too cheap to buy transfers, so the shields are hand painted.
Had my first go with my home made static grass applicator on these too. Really made the grass look deep and lush I think!
