i finally managed to get my personal website verification right here on mastodon. it took a while until i realized that i just forgot to save my changes. i more or less followed this guide

Update/Answer: You can't, IF you have, as example, a Carrd Webseite and pay 20 bucks a year, you have the option to write custom code into a field...

Now I absolutely don't know how the hell #verfication on #Mastodon profile works...  

As a test I tried to add my pretending-to-be-a-website to my profile and check if it could work. I KNOW Mastodon web interface does not recognize IP addresses and never makes links from them. So I expected it would completely fail. But for some unknown reason it actually work. Even if it still doesn't make link...
