I switched from #VanadiumBrowser to #vivaldi on #GrapheneOS mainly because I'd switched on desktop. I've found 2 main improvements: handling of the URL bar is much better, Vanadium clears the field when tapped and offers a popup button to edit or paste which is kinda awkward (might come from stock Chromium)... Vivaldi highlights the existing URL instead just like a normal text field, while still offering "Paste and Go". 1/2

Wow! I've just discovered that it's possible to use Secure Element as #u2f in GrapheneOS via hw-fido2-provider [1] (btw, thank you @S1m) in Vanadium even without any external token. Successfully added my Pixel smartphone as second factor device to my addy.io account. It works finally!

@stavvers I had a chance to test file.pizza between two #GrapheneOS devices on my home network with predictably disappointing results.

#VanadiumBrowser didn't work for either sharing or downloading:
* security hardened #ChromiumBrowser.

#DuckDuckGoBrowser works for sharing only.

#IceRaven works for sharing and downloading:
* fork of #Firefox

That transferring files worked at all, with any combination of browsers was a surprise. 😯

@SoloRunStudio #mastodonapp closed on me a couple of times. Started closing down to a few tabs and it never occurred again. Running #vanadiumbrowser and #GraphenOS on a #Pixel 8 if that means anything.
