Kristoffer LawsonIt’s interesting that here #Putin is speaking from the #Valaam monastery, originally part of #Finland, and the original location of the #Valamo monastery before it was evacuated and the monks relocated to their current location, after the Soviet Union annexed Finnish Karelian territories after WWII (they wanted to annex all of Finland, much like #Russia wants to do with #Ukraine).
Something Finns are unlikely to ever fully forget or forgive.
