I’ve used #VailCW rather a lot while learning CW and recently dug up two older projects that seemed worth putting back in the light. It is a small attempt to give something back to a system I found genuinely excellent. And broadly, my tiny contribution to FOSS.

One is a CW adapter that speaks Vail over MIDI on a $2 Digispark, with USB and a local sidetone buzzer. It's faster than a keyboard with no audio delay.

Some small updates and fixes...

#HamRadio #CW #MoreCode #OpenSource #SunSDR #TCI #vailCW

Added a first GUI to the #TCI #cwkeyer. Works with both macros and/or a paddle.
Also made it work with the #vailCW adapter.

…In addition to actual #Morse QSO’s with others on #VBand, the #radio, or #VailCW [https://vail.woozle.org/ ] (you can have a QSO & get ur fortune told in CW on Vail) - even practicing simulated QSO’s on the #HamMorseApp (or just listening to the various live streaming news feeds available there). #LCWO is just one of many ways to enjoy learning & improving depending on the day, the ability or lack thereof to get on the air, and how much time is available.
