#Precipitation over the #Northland is changing over to all #snow, and will be doing so over the next hour over northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula.
Snow #showers will persist overnight as they move out of the area from west to east.
NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR APRIL 2, 2026:
A strong #storm system will bring #snow #showers into the #Northland Wednesday night, along with strong #winds off #LakeSuperior.
Thursday will see all snow showers in northeast #Minnesota, with #sleet and #freezingrain mixing in with the snow over northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula.
#Temperatures hold steady in the 20s and 30s throughout.

WINTER STORM SYSTEM #1:
A strong #winter-like #storm #system will impact the #Northland tonight through Thursday night.
What will be all #snow in northeast #Minnesota will see #sleet and #freezingrain mix in over northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula.
It will become tough to get around, so be prepared!

From the National Weather Service:
"Marquette’s two-day snowfall total of 36.3 inches breaks the all-time two-day snowfall record of 31.9 inches, which was set on March 13-14 in 1997.
Weather records for the NWS Marquette area go back to 1959.
Also, a one-day snowfall record was set in Marquette on Monday, with 21.7 inches of snow falling.
This breaks Marquette’s old record of 7.7 inches that was set in 2013."
Whoa. We know that road from our trips to Marquette.

A persistent few bands of #snow #showers continue to come across the #TwinPorts and northwest #Wisconsin.
Snow showers are also continuing for other locations further east into the #UpperPeninsula.
The Mining Journal newspaper in Michigan's Upper Peninsula suspends print version and delivery for tomorrow, due to severe winter weather.
"Due to severe winter weather and blizzard-like conditions impacting Northern Michigan, our newspaper will not be printed or delivered on Monday.
The safety of our employees, carriers and distribution teams remains our top priority during these extreme conditions."

Everyone will have to deal with strong #wind gusts and cold #temperatures through Monday.
NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR MARCH 11, 2026:
#Snow #showers will pass through the #Northland Tuesday night, focusing on northwest #Wisconsin and the #UpperPeninsula. Winds remain #breezy with low #temperatures in the upper teens and 20s.
Wednesday will see the snow showers move out, skies #clear of clouds and #winds calm. Highs will remain #seasonal in the 30s.
