Il Tempo: Albanese (sindaco Maratea): "Con FiberCop territorio più competitivo"
Maratea, 2 apr. - (Adnkronos) - “L'impatto è stato notevole perché proprio la capillarità dell'intervento ha permesso a tutte le attività, presenti anche nelle numerose frazioni, di essere finalmente connesse. Oggi si può lavorare in linea con le esigenze del mercato globale: dalle prenotazioni agli ordini, fino alla promozione attraverso contenuti multimediali sempre più indispensabili, soprattutto in un territorio a forte vocazione turistica come il nostro”. Così il sindaco di Maratea, Cesare Albanese, commenta i lavori della rete ultraveloce realizzata da FiberCop, un'infrastruttura che segna un passaggio decisivo per lo sviluppo digitale del territorio
Un intervento che ha saputo coniugare innovazione e rispetto del contesto. “FiberCop – sottolinea il primo cittadino – è riuscita a realizzare questa infrastruttura nel pieno rispetto di tutti i vincoli presenti a Maratea, in particolare quelli paesaggistici e storico-archeologici, che qui sono particolarmente stringenti. Anche nel centro storico, dove ci troviamo, tutto è stato interrato con estrema attenzione, senza lasciare tracce visibili e senza alterare l'identità dei luoghi”.
Il risultato, evidenzia il sindaco, è un'infrastruttura moderna ma “invisibile”, perfettamente integrata nel tessuto urbano e paesaggistico. “Parliamo di un territorio unico, fatto di natura, vicoli e storia. L'intervento è stato realizzato attraversando il centro storico e le aree più delicate senza deturparle, eliminando anche la presenza di cavi aerei e contribuendo al decoro complessivo”.
Un passo avanti importante non solo sul piano tecnologico, ma anche su quello economico e sociale. “Questa rete – conclude – si inserisce nel modo più efficace nel nostro modello di sviluppo e di promozione turistica. Oggi Maratea è più connessa, più moderna e più competitiva, ma resta pienamente fedele alla propria identità”.

An intervention that has been able to combine innovation and respect for the context. “FiberCop – emphasizes the mayor – has been able to realize this infrastructure fully respecting all the constraints present in Maratea, particularly the landscape and historical-archaeological ones, which here are particularly strict. Even in the historic center, where we are, everything has been buried with extreme care, without leaving visible traces and without altering the identity of the places.”
The result, highlights the mayor, is a modern but “invisible” infrastructure, perfectly integrated into the urban and landscape fabric. “We are talking about a unique territory, made of nature, alleys and history. The intervention was carried out crossing the historic center and the most delicate areas without deturping them, eliminating the presence of aerial cables and contributing to the overall decor.”
An important step forward not only technologically, but also economically and socially. “This network – concludes – fits in the most effective way into our development and tourism promotion model. Today Maratea is more connected, more modern and more competitive, but remains fully faithful to its own identity.”
