Also:

• Günstiger (von der Gebührenstruktur mindestens auf dem Level von #SumUp sein und ≤2,5% pro Transaktion kosten - ohne #Grundgebühren oder anderen Bullshit!)
• Bequemer (so reibungslos wie PayPal oder ne #AMEX swipen)
• Besser verfügbar (#global angeboten und zumindest für alle #SEPA-Konten direkt automatisch ohne Extrakosten verfügbar sein! Wenns schwerer einzurichten und weniger global verfügbar ist als PayPal ist's kein Ersatz!)
• Schneller (Auf dem Niveau von #UATP-Karten. Wenns länger dauert als #Monero ist's selbst für #Gastronomie, #Hotels und #Autovermietung zu lahm!)
• Sicherer (wie #GeldKarte mit #PIN seinerzeit bzw. #Chip+PIN Debitkarten!)

Für mich wirkt die Umsetzung von #wero wie #Selbstsabotage.

• Ob durch #Gier, #Ego, #Inkompetenz oder #Realitätsverweigerung ist irrelevant!
  • So wird das nur zu ner Totgeburt mit weniger Akzeptanz als #JCB, #UnionPay, #AliPay, #WeChatPay in #Deutschland!

  • I'm pretty shure there are more than 47 Million users of #Monero in the #EU alone, and I'm not even talking about #Shitcoins like #Bitcoin which are being spun for those that consider Solver, Gold and Platinum to be "peastant's investment"...

• Add to that, it isn't even an independent and sanction-free system compared to even Mir, AliPlay, WeChatPay and UnionPay, as the #US government is still able to commit "#EconomicMurder" simply for "#vibes" as @RoteHilfe learned.

Weil zzt. sind alle Lösungen entweser "PayPal nur schlechter" oder mit weniger Akzeptanz als #PaySafeCard, #JCB, #UnionPay, #WeChatPay, #AliPay und #Monero in #Deutschland!

• They already made it kinda impossible to transfer large amounts of money out via #UnionPay credit cards and withdraw that cash on an ATM.

@ingo_wichmann @oec @JuxGD OFC #GeldKarte being a physical-/instore-only payment method alsp completely made it obsolete.

• I do hope the folks behind #wero take this as a lession and avoid these issues.

Otherwise they'd be self-sabotaging from the get-go.

• Personally I think the #EU really needs to speed up it's development and actually release a competent #CreditCard standard that like #UnionPay, #JCB & #MIR actually works and like #PaySafeCard supports both anonymous, non-reloadable code cards (cuz *"#AML") and directly linked #credit & #debit cards, with all types being useable in store, on ATMs and online.

I just doubt that this will happen given that #Zensursula heads @EUCommission …

@txt_file @lina the Problem with #PayPal is that they have NO REAL #COMPETITION, so being an asshole corporation has no real consequences.

I mean, look at the state of #OnlinePayments:

• #TradFinance fearmongered regulators and institutions into #Monero #delistings and bans.

• #wero doesn't even get mandatory acceptance within the #SEPA-Area and doesn't support non-SEPA accounts, thus is less useful than #UnionPay, #AliPay & #WeChatPay in #Germany.

• The 3 before-mentioned providers won't even offer their services for #EU citizens/non-"P.R." #China residents.

• #WesternUnion, #RIA, #MoneyGram, etc. are absurdly expensive and don't work well nor can be integrated as #OnlinePayment.

• #PerfectMoney, like #Mir, is basically useless outside #Russia & #CIS member states.

• Same goes for all the other national providers like #SOFORTÜBERWEISUNG (absorbed by #Klarna, basically only seen in Germany), etc.

PayPal OWNS the market for #payments harder than Autodesk for Engineering Software and Adobe for Creative Software because #regulators like @EUCommission refuse to regulate!

• People who have neither #CreditCards (from the 2,5 Oligopolists from the USA: #Visa, #MasterCard & #AMEX) nor a PayPal account are basically "banned from #OnlineShopping"!

• #Stripe can't even do #WireTransfer or #Widthdrawals from SEPA bank accounts!
