The Province Wide Day of Protest on Friday, May 29th in Edmonton includes BOTH a Solidarity Walk from 8am-10pm from the Walterdale Bridge with friends from Public Interest Alberta and other community members fostered during the fall 2025 teachers' strike to recapture the solidarity between teachers, parents, grandparents, and students,
- AND -
A march downtown at 11:15am from Centennial Plaza, south of the Stanley A. Milner Library, to east of the Edmonton Convention Centre where 600 healthcare workers will be rallying until 1pm.
Please plan to attend both or either rally. For the Solidarity Walk, please Wear Red for Public Ed, or yellow for Fight Back Now! For the downtown march, please wear yellow and consider bringing signs and noisemakers to both.
I may wear red to both because I don't think I own anything yellow, lol.

'Citizens need to demand major course correction to reverse the “chaos unfolding in our province”. In the wake of the latest separatist outrage, the president of Alberta’s largest worker advocacy group says it’s time to move “from anger to action and from demonstration to disruption.”'
