Dickere Regelbücher bieten nicht unbedingt bessere #ttrpg. Überlege noch, die Tendenz ist m. E. klar.
@arossp I ran it on a local RPG meetup for 2 first time UA players that totally "got it." So it went really well.
Maria In Three Parts is an introductory module #UA3RPG. It has a lot going for it:
1. A concise explanation of the main rules.
2a.The right amount of "lore.”
2b. Opportunities to engage with the most important mechanics in the game.
I ran an introductory session of #UnknownArmies 3e for two players a few days ago. (Maria in Three Parts)
While explaining Adepts and Charges I told the player playing the Cinemancer:
“Adam Sandler's character in Uncut Gems; well that' s an Adept working up charges.”
"Really?" He asked.
I thought about it for a second and answered:
