Breaking, via Kia: there is once again a Firefox version of uBlock Origin Lite, which can be downloaded from the GitHub repository. The extension is not back on the Mozilla Addons Store.
I am looking into this and may have more information soon.

Und hier nochmal eine Erinnerung, warum wir von #Google unabhängige Browser brauchen: #uBlockOrigin, was die Browsernutzung erträglich macht, fliegt nun wegen der lang angekündigten Umstellung auf #ManifestV3 endgültig aus #Chrome / #Chromium raus. #uBlockLite ist leider komplett kastriert und kann nur rudimentär Werbung blockieren.
#Firefox unterstützt weiter #ManifestV2 und ist die Empfehlung des uBlock Origin Entwicklers gorhill. #Librewolf hat das Add-on vorinstalliert.
#uBlockOrigin ou #ublocklite ? Va falloir choisir, prochainement, en tout cas si vous utilisez #googlechrome (#manifestv3 vs. #ManifestV2).

Mit #uBlockLite sieht man erst richtig, wie kaputt das #Internet eigentlich ist.
Übrigens: Dieser Satz hier ist sehr fies formuliert und hätte mich beinahe überzeugt, dass es #uBlockOrigin auch für #ManifestV3 gäbe.
Aber nein, es gibt nur das deutlich eingeschränktere #uBlockLite. Ich wundere mich, wie lange #Google wohl an dem Satz geschraubt hat, bis er so klang, dass jetzt alle Probleme gelöst seien… 🤯
