I made my own version of the game Tsuro with a Doctor Who theme. I wanted little TARDIS' but standees of the different companions and Doctors was cheaper. I called this one Timelines (instead of Tsuro).

Friday night #boardgames action with #Tsuro: Phoenix Rising.

We played with the Kickstarter-exclusive Twilight Portal expansion, adding a bit more intrigue in the quest for 7 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a great day of gaming yesterday!

Started the day off with The Reckoners. It's a cooperative game based on a Brandon Sanderson series I had never heard of. It was pretty good. It was a bit of a mess on the table with six players. We lost pretty bad, but we still had a good time.

Next, we played Minigolf Designer. This game is great! It's a tricky tile laying game about, well, designing a minigolf course. It's got a tile drafting mechanic similar to #Kingdomino. The puzzle is pretty damn tough to figure out. You're constantly balancing planning ahead and trying to get the pieces you desperately need. I love it, and need more of it in my life.

We then played some #Tsuro and #Villianous.

Tsuro is always a good time with anyone. It's perfect for just about any group.

Villianous is fun, but definitely not great at high player counts. Too much to think about. 2 or 3 is best, imo.

A very fun weekend getting lots of games in and managed to pick up a new board game. Tsuro is a simple yet fantastic game I've wanted for a while.

Tile laying boat game was fun. Not sure about the Kaiju expansion game we tried. Probably a good game for new gamers.
