Just watched a clip for the first few minutes of the #Treadstone series, wondering why I found it so unsatisfactory (and not just me, since it was summarily cancelled after just ten episodes), given how much I enjoy the Bourne movies.

The reason is that the fight choreography is shite, and they try to cover it with shaky bad camera movement.

You can't have 'killing machines' that never block punches to the face or use roundhouse punches, leaving their plexus open, instead of short direct ones.

Estuve viendo #Treadstone y es una lástima que no cerrase la historia. Actores y actrices estupendos aunque no encajen entre sus personajes de diferentes edades pero parece que quisieron complicar la trama sin reducir tiempo para mostrar las relaciones y se les fue de las manos.

Been watching Treadstone (2019) this week. It's an engaging show. It shouldn't have been canceled. I like it for some of the same reasons I liked Person of Interest. Not for the same reasons I liked the Bourne series. Which may be partly why it was canceled. I do like a good spy show. #television #treadstone
