The recent victory by the Hindu nationalist #BJP party in West Bengal will undoubtedly raise concerns in #Bangladesh, mainly for two reasons.
Firstly, the new government will try to deport Bengali-speaking #Muslims to Bangladesh, potentially triggering a major humanitarian crisis.
Secondly, the new government could also worsen the #Teesta dispute by pushing for ultranationalist terms that will be detrimental for Bangladesh.

তিস্তা নদী নিয়ে কোনোদিন গান শুনিনি এর আগে । তবে একজনের বলায় বিপুল ছেত্রী নামের একটি শিল্পীর গান শুনলাম । গানটি নেপালি ভাষায়, কিন্তু এটি উত্তরবঙ্গের জনজাতির জন্য অনেক গুরুত্ব রাখে । তিস্তা শুধু একটি নদী নয়, একটি আবেগ ।
