✏️ U.a. mit einem Beitrag zu "Tech Enabled Abuse" von @bsi und unseren Partnerinnen im "Dialog für Cybersicherheit"
🅰🅻🅸🅲🅴 (🌈🦄)@catsalad and I just spent a lovely day (virtually) together, brainstorming about my tech-enabled abuse project...which Cat is now going to co-author! 💕
We're planning to cover the topic from the points of view of three personas: abused partner, vulnerable (esp trans) youth, and job-seeker/employee.
They each have a pretty distinct threat model, and we believe they will be of the greatest interest/applicability to our communities here.
The "abused partner" section will talk about things like privacy-invading devices, cyber-stalking, revenge porn, and covert resources for help.
The "vulnerable youth" section will cover things like involuntary outing, social presence, bullying, and support in hostile environments.
The "employee" section will cover topics having to do with professional presentation online, recruiter/employer snooping, and keeping work & personal data separate.
All three will have heavy OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) components.
