Now that Ghost will soon be federating to ActivityPub, I wish more than ever for the skills to self-host with them!

Realistically though, paying for Ghost Pro would save my sanity.

Still looking to wrap my brain around Quartz, or some other way of creating an independent blog for an affordable price.

Just installed a new operating system on my laptop for my mom. This time, I felt she would benefit from the Lindooz desktop on Makulu Linux, so I installed it for her. @Robminchin On the one hand, thanks for the info. I won’t wander over there. On the other hand, I haven’t even figured out how to find, let alone join, an instance. So I guess I’m safe from all that, but also probably doomed to wander aimlessly like a mastodon without a home.
