Die Syrian Coast Guard ⚓🇸🇾 schickte einen Hubschrauber, um nach ihnen zu suchen, dieser konnte das Boot jedoch nicht lokalisieren.
Die Menschen im Boot konnten nicht ihre Position mit dem Thuraya-Telefon übermitteln; mit Unterstützung von CRG gelang dann schließlich doch.

🆘 Consolidated Rescue Group (crg-news.com) wurde von Verwandten wegen einem Boot mit 23 Pers. um Hilfe gerufen, das gestern früh von #Tartus, #Syrien 🇸🇾 abfuhr. Seit ca. 16:00 als das Boot sich nahe #Zypern 🇨🇾 befand, haben sie keinen Kontakt mehr zu ihnen. CRG informierte die Cyprus Port & Marine Police.
