Na szczęście samiec nie został zjedzony.
Wczoraj niestety samiec nie przeżył, choć nie wiadomo czy coś zdziałał.

I ordered a Neoholothele incei 'Gold' from Swift's Invertebrates. He includes a freebie in every order but the current freebies listed on his site for orders under $100 are some smaller centipedes. I told him there is no need to send a freebie because centipedes give me the willies (tho I'd consider keeping Scolopendra gigantea). To my happy surprise, he included a Brachypelma albopilosum with my order instead!

During feeding time for the #tarantulas this evening, the Pterinochilus murinus bolted which resulted in me briefly handling it - something I'm not a fan of generally but especially not with that species. Their common name is Orange Baboon #Tarantula (OBT) but they are better known as Orange Bitey Thing.

Today has been a good day! I received two plants I ordered (Nervilia plicata & Monolena primuliflora), I received 5 tarantulas I ordered (Brachypelma boehmei, Ceratogyrus darlingi, Monocentropus balfouri, Poecilotheria metallica & Pterinochilus murinus) plus they threw in a bonus (Theraphosa blondi!), I had a phone interview for a job, and most importantly...

I was offered the job I had a second interview for earlier this week!!
