At my table, we recently added the "exploding damage dice" table rule (running 5e 2014). It's caused a zombie to kill the party's 4th level half-orc barbarian in a single round, and nearly caused them to die last night from a single javelin throw from an ogre.

The exploding damage dice work both ways, but so far it's only harmed the party.

What do you think about this table rule? Keep it? Toss it? Try it?
