Still no word on a third season of the African animated show "Supa Team 4".

I really like the show so far. It even taught me some things about life in Africa and watching it in original English made me love Pidgin English even more.

And it's cool superhero girls!

Ah well, I'd love to have a third season, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up, it's Netflix after all.

I recently ran into https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy7zO64aAkA , a #netflix #cartoon of teenage #magicalGirls / #superheroines from #Zambia, written by a cast of female writers.

After a few episodes, I can say that - within the genre - it's doing a lot of great work to introduce kids to the subsaharan cultures, languages, aesthetics. I'm glad it's translated to a lot of languages!
