I know and understand that truth can come from anywhere, not just from the 12 imams. Following them does not directly make faith stronger, because faith returns to each individual. Also, if holiness is real, it is not only the Prophet Muhammad and his ahl al-bayt who are holy, everyone can be holy.

People may say that I am a Shiite Muslim and not a Sunni Muslim, that I follow Shia Islam and not Sunni Islam. Well, that is not correct because I identify myself as a Muslim and a Muslim is a Muslim, whatever sect or denomination they follow.
