it feels like doing well against doormaker requires you to actively sabotage your deck against every other enemy.

normally, a small deck is really good, because you consistently draw the cards you need and don't get bad hands where you draw only block or only damage very often. but you'll exhaust them all against doormaker. so you just have to take lots of extra damage and block cards? bleh.

also, ethereal cards suck against doormaker, because they're a guaranteed exhaust if you draw them on the wrong turn, unless you have discard (which necrobinder doesn't).

Earlier I had the silliest win with the regent: bombardment+, tyranny+, and whichever relic duplicates the first attack played each turn.

My first A10 win in #Sts2 . Necrobinder seems pretty strong on the whole, it really didn't take much grinding at all (stats say 11wins, 8 losses). I had initially climbed ascensions a bit with Regent, but wanted a change after A7 there.

Winning deck was kinda "random BS" deck with lots of energy, expensive cards, souls, power synergies and random stuff from Call of the Void. Basically built around my first relic like a noob but it paid off.

Also Pael's Wing into Prayer Wheel was fun - on the last floor I deliberately pathed through mostly hallway fights :D
