As for chargers not at home, the usual ones here - 50kW - would do an essentially complete charge of my ID.3 - 58kWh -in one hour.
More usually it is a 120kW+ charger and I need 10-30kWh. I get time for a pee and to get a cup of coffee. A discharge -charge cycle to go with the battery.
If I'm at #Stourhead #NT for lunch I use the slower charger. The very slowest would let me walk around the lake, which is lovely.

@nigelpstanley Today, on the way to elsewhere, I paused at Stourhead, where there is also a famous bridge, lake, and follies.
It was too damn hot to walk down the hill and photograph them.
A pity.

Stopped at #Stourhead for tea and a peep at the lake.
There are, by the way, some fast #chargers for #BEV s in the car park now, new enough they are not yet in the #NationalTrust list of them.
That's encouragement to us to visit a few more times.
