The magnificent interior of St Mary's Church at Studley Royal, North Yorkshire.
Considered to be one of the finest examples of High Victorian Gothic Revival architecture in England – it certainly has a WOW factor!
Located within the World Heritage Site of Studley Royal Park, it's probably passed by many of those heading to visit the ruins of Fountains Abbey.
As can be seen, it is extravagantly decorated, influenced by 13th century English Gothic styles, containing coloured marble, stained glass and painted and gilded figures.
It is preserved in the guardianship of English Heritage and is managed by the National Trust.
St Mary's is open daily from end of March - end of October 1pm – 3:30pm.
