The first time we ever see (a version of) the Bajoran emblem is early in #StarTrekDS9's "Emissary"⬆️, when Sisko walks the Promenade for the first time and passes the Bajoran temple. The temple's circular door frame features 10 Bajoran emblems but it's hard to see here. We'll see this much better later in the season. This moment comes before we ever see a Bajoran in a Bajoran military uniform, which also features a combadge and rank insignia shaped like the Bajoran emblem.

I have written or co-written articles about all kinds of Starfleet or alien logos/emblems for Ex Astris Scientia. The only major emblem that is missing is the Bajoran one. The Bajoran emblem appears all over #DS9, sometimes highly stylized as part of some column, doorway or set decoration. Beginning today, I will go through all episodes of #StarTrekDS9, looking for appearances of the Bajoran emblem and post about them on a daily basis. :-)

I heard some ancient telepathic energy spheres possessed the crew on Deep Space Nine and made them act out a ridiculous mutiny. Honestly, if they wanted a little drama, they could have just invited me. Thank goodness my dear, sweet Odo helped saved them all.
