So the first time you head north from your hometown, there's this spot that's called the Crashed Starship. And you can go off the path and look at it if you like, it's this burned out black crashed husk, but you can't interact with it… because everyone knows that thing, it's the crashed starship.
Bear in mind this is clearly a medieval-esque village and you're using swords, brigandine and leather armor, and occasionally magic spells.
When you travel back in time four hundred years or so, you're just going around doing the things you need to do, including seeing when that village was smaller and didn't even have a wall yet, and then when you're on a whole other continent, everyone's like, wow, what's that light? And this little white light comes crashing down…
"Oh. Oh wow that must be the starship."
"The what?!"
And now there's something someone has to say about it because now it's important.
But before that, it's irrelevant, unimportant, everyone knows the Crashed fucking Starship.
