On my way back from a conference trip to Japan. I promised myself not to buy an #arcade board unless I stumbled upon Super Street Fighter 2X: Grand Master Challenge. They of course had it in MAK in Akihabara.

#SSF2X is the definitive version of Street Fighter 2, still played competitively today.

It's on Capcom's fantastic CPS2 system with their impressively huge green boards.
Mine is safely wrapped in my luggage, but here's a picture of another one.

Any other #CPS2 enthusiasts on the line?

France has around 15 players of Super Street Fighter 2X and Vampire Savior currently visiting Japan.
Stopping at Osaka's PASSCA game center, the 2X players took on a team of local players (some legendary) and won thanks to an incredible run by Kazel (O.Hawk)
