"Letting go of Evo"

I wrote about why I'm breaking my Evo attendance streak (every year since 2011; first Evo was 2003). It's sad, but I think this a good opportunity to celebrate the Evo moments that got me here before moving on.

I'm not interested in arguing about the ethics of supporting or working for Evo; it's easier to choose where you spend your money than where you make it. But I think that acknowledging formative moments is a key part of coming to terms with loss and moving on, and that's how I'll handle this.
