Mudb0yHere's a little mixtape of some of my beats I started working on a while back. I got inspired by #Madlib doing little interludes all the time on his beat CDs and wanted to do something similar, so here we are. Maybe some of y'all will enjoy some of the tracks on here.

I would indeed start saving money to buy a used one in two years from now - BUT: pads would have been the final selling point. Of course you can also place samples on a TR sequencer but the inclusion of #SP404 DNA (sampling) does naturally need a few pads, a 4x2 matrix would already do the job. Is that only my #pickiness or does anyone have a similar point or ideas? #Fingerdrumming #Sampling #DrumMachine #DetailsMatter

Hi there, I'm dAVE! I'm based in Seattle, WA, USA. I'm a dad that enjoys brewing coffee with one of my many coffee brewing toys. I also enjoy video games and reading science fiction.
As a creative outlet I like to make experimental electronic music and sound art. I mostly focus on making improvised pieces using my Roland SP404 MKII sampler and an array of effects pedals and instruments.
When making music I try to be in the moment as much as possible and just record and move on. I like to record what I'm doing down to stereo right away with no real mixing afterwards and very little mastering. Capturing the raw feeling of the moment is what is most important to me.
