Working on my first track independently: concept to recording to mix out of the Waikīkī Dungeon apartment.

I start on the sampler, then live print the chops into the DAW and build from there.

The hardest part right now is getting the timing right—everything starts loose when I’m chopping in free time, and translating that cleanly into the DAW has been a process.
